Zita Ann Davis, 62, died February 21, 2010 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born April 17, 1947 at Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Alois and Pauline (Schmidt) Kisner. She married Albert E. Davis March 25, 1966 at Hoisington, Kansas. A lifetime resident of Hoisington, Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. Mrs. Davis was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington. Survivors include her husband, Albert Davis, Hoisington; three sons: Keith Davis and wife Tanya, Hoisington, Kansas; Kelly Davis and wife Sandra, Great Bend, Kansas; and Troy Davis and wife Teresa, Bushton, Kansas; one sister, Shirley Jones, Hoisington; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Mae Brown and a nephew, Gordon Legleiter. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Father Dwight Birket. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
