Wincle Shearrer, 76, died September 28, 2009 at Douglas, Kansas. He was born November 20, 1932 at Wagner, Oklahoma, the son of David Lee and Edna Mae (Witt) Shearrer. A lifetime Great Bend, Kansas, resident, Mr. Shearrer was a construction worker. Survivors include one son, Terry Shearrer, Louisburg, Kansas; one daughter, Linda Ruble, Hoisington, Kansas; two brothers: David F. Shearrer, Pawnee Rock, Kansas; and Leon Shearrer, Larned, Kansas; and three sisters: Lottie Mae Leach, Inola, Oklahoma; Audrey Bridges, Weletta, Oklahoma; and Sue Greathouse, Larned, Kansas. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Plank; and two sisters, Wholline Mulinauex and Oasie Mulinauex. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. The Reverend Dick Ogle will officiate. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
