Wade LeRoy Meyer, 53, died December 3, 2012 in Russell County, Kansas. He was born November 18, 1959 at Craig, Colorado, the son of Russell and Mary Ann (Tate) Meyer. He married Kayla Sova March 3, 1980 at Great Bend, Kansas. A Great Bend resident until 1986, living in Florida until moving back to Great Bend in 2011, Mr. Meyer was a truck driver for Pal Salmon and Sons, Inc., in Florida and moved oil rigs for Petromark Drilling after moving back to Great Bend. He was a member of First Bible Baptist Church, Great Bend. Survivors include his wife, Kayla Meyer, of the home; one son, Travis Meyer and his wife Melissa, Russell, Kansas; one daughter, Angela Meyer, Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Mark Meyer, Port St. John, Florida; and Greg Meyer, Great Bend; and six grandchildren: Austin Meyer and Autumn Meyer, Russell; Andrea Meyer, Georgia; Allysa Bonaccorso, Rockledge, Florida; and Anthony Bonaccorso and Angelina Bonaccorso, of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gina Meyer; and his best friend, Mike Adams. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend John Grummon officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home.
