Virginia R. Musser, 86, died January 31, 2011 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born February 3, 1924 at rural Lahoma, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Brackage) Decker. She married Charles J. Musser December 24, 1943 at Hondo, Texas. He died August 27, 2006. A Great Bend resident since 1983, coming from Enid, Oklahoma, she was a bookkeeper for Everitt Lumber. Mrs. Musser was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Enid. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara A. Hill and husband Don, rural Hutchinson, Kansas; and fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Patricia Lou Handzo; two brothers, Russell Decker and Donald Decker; and one sister, Bernice Winter. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. The Reverend Kevin Baxter will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Hospice Care of Kansas or American Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
