Vickie Mower, 58, died October 28, 2009. She was born November 28, 1950 at Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Bernard and Marie (Riedel) Huslig. She married Russ Mower October 20, 1991 at Plano, Texas. Mrs. Mower was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Allen, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Russ Mower, Allen, Texas; mother, Marie Huslig, Claflin, Kansas; three daughters: Tina Firgens and husband Keith, Plano, Texas; Lisa Pflughoeft-Goetz and husband Todd, Wichita, Kansas; and Diana Cochrane, Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Tom Huslig, Claflin, Kansas; and Dennis Zimmerman, Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Huslig. A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Claflin, Kansas. Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
