Valerie Ann "Corky" Miller, 51, died December 3, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born February 14, 1959 at Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Glenn A. and Patricia Ann (Ratliff) Miller. She was a Hutchinson resident. Ms. Miller was a member of the Christian faith. Survivors include her father, Glenn A. Miller, Great Bend; one son, Christopher Hagler and wife Tracy, Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Vanessa Miller and husband John, Hutchinson; one sister, Julie A. Straub and husband Larry, Salina, Kansas; one brother, Scott A. Miller, Topeka, Kansas; three grandchildren: John Miller, Jr., Myles Hagler, and Ambrosia Miller; one step-granddaughter, Vanessa Hagler; one nephew, Brantley Straub; and one niece, Hillary Straub. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Miller. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Great Bend Cemetery with Pastor Don Paden officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
