Travis Eugene Underwood, 30, died June 30, 2015, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born July 28, 1984, in Great Bend he was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Debra (Bittner) Underwood. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, he was a rig hand for Klima Well Service. Oilfield was his life. He enjoyed playing games with his son. Survivors include his mother, Debra Underwood of Great Bend; two sons, Jaxson of Great Bend, and Devyn of Bazine; girlfriend, Dilansy Tracy; one sister, Myra Mills and her husband Benjamin of Hoisington; and two brothers, Dakota Thayer of Larned, Joseph Miller of Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his father; Frank; one brother, Steven; his grandparents; and one cousin, Jessie. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Clay Boepple officiating. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m., on Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Children's Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.
