Thelia Jo Ford, 56, died August 17, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born October 26, 1952 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Steve and Thelia Belle (Smith) Malone. She married Jack Ford January 20, 1973 at Chase, Kansas. A lifelong Great Bend resident, Mrs. Ford was the former office manager for L & M Contractors, Great Bend. Mrs. Ford was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society, Great Bend. Survivors include her husband, Jack Ford, of the home; one son, Chris Ford and wife, Melanee, Russell, Kansas; one daughter, Jessica Ford, of the home; one brother, Steve Malone, Wichita, Kansas; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Malone, Wichita, Kansas; and Judy Malone, Raleigh, North Carolina; and two grandchildren: Brayden Ford and Jarod Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Mace Scott; and two brothers, Pat L. Malone and George Malone. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Floyd McKinney will be celebrant. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Raymond, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home.
