Terry Lee Oberle, 43, died March 31, 2008 at his Claflin, Kansas, home. He was born May 12, 1964 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Herman Patrick Oberle. He was a cook and a former member of the Kansas Army National Guard. He was a Claflin resident since 2007, moving from Pratt, Kansas. Survivors include one son, Christopher Oberle, Republic, Missouri; three step-brothers, Jimmy Oberle, Hoisington, Kansas, Jerry Oberle, Great Bend, Kansas, and Jody Oberle, Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Patty Gabbard, Claflin, Kansas, and Karen Agnew, Iowa; and adoptive parents, Dennis and Marsha Oberle, Cunningham, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Oberle. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, with the Reverend Don Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Claflin Cemetery, Claflin, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the funeral home.
