Teresa L. Prosser, 94, died January 23, 2007 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was given the gift of life February 13, 1912 at Odin, Kansas, the daughter of P. J. and Louise (Korkish) Meyeres. She married John P. Prosser May 26, 1936 at Odin, Kansas. He died August 31, 1995. Mrs. Prosser was a resident of Great Bend since 1961, coming from Claflin, Kansas. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Prosser was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima and the Altar Society. Survivors include three sons: Don Prosser, Pratt, Kansas; Les Prosser, Great Bend, Kansas; and Charles Prosser, Houston, Texas; one daughter: Dolores Newell, Great Bend, Kansas; two sisters: Clara Steiner, Great Bend, Kansas; and Ann Hitschmann, Odin, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service will be at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2007, both at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend, Kansas. Father Wesley Schawe will officiate. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Bryant Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established with Holy Family School Endowment Fund, in care of the funeral home.
