Surrounded by those who truly loved her, Teddi Ann Maneth, 71, passed from this life to her final reward on October 10, 2012 at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. She was born January 13, 1941 at Mazepa, Minnesota, the daughter of Theodore and Caroline (Schumacher) Hoffmann. She married Paul E. Maneth August 1, 1964 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend, Kansas. A Great Bend resident for forty-seven years, Mrs. Maneth was a homemaker. Mrs. Maneth was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, and Great Bend Garden Club. In this world, Teddi's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, her friends, and her relationship with her God. She loved to bake cookies for the grandchildren on their birthdays and to spend time with them when she could. Her love of flowers was one of her passions and she enjoyed sharing that passion with others. Those who knew here remember her for her smile even when her health made her life difficult. Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Maneth, of the home; one son, Don Maneth and his wife Tatiane, San Diego, California; one daughter, Anne Marie Higgins and her husband LTC Sean, Stuttgart, Germany; two brothers: Maurice Hoffmann and his wife Audrey, Orange, California; Gerald Hoffmann and his wife Donna, Davenport, Florida; one sister-in-law, Virginia Hoffmann, Brainerd, Minnesota; three brothers-in-law: William Maneth and his wife Kay, Great Bend; Larry Maneth and his wife Karel, Salina, Kansas; and Ron Maneth and his wife Janet, Amarillo, Texas; and nine grandchildren: Brett Ellis, Preston Higgins, Ashlyn Higgins, Caitlin Higgins, Molly Higgins, Collin Higgins, Brendan Higgins, Isabel Higgins, and Jack Higgins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Hugh Hoffmann; and one sister, Elaine Neeb. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Vigil service and Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Reginald A. Urban will be celebrant. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
