Suzanne Marcella Anderson, 83, died August 21, 2008 at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. On May 14, 1947 she married Alvin F. Anderson at Racine, Wisconsin. He died on December 4, 1993. She was a homemaker. Suzanne rose above the challenges posed upon her as being a wife of a career Air Force serviceman, rearing a family while supporting her husband while he served his country. Suzanne was a resident of Great Bend since 1995 coming from Racine, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Survivors include a son, Brent Anderson of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; two daughters, Daun Anderson of Great Bend, Kansas and Marcia Jablonski of Deluth, Minnesota; one sister, Ida Mae Dresen of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, Janelle Jablonski, James Jablonski, Christine Boisjoli and Dawn Fox. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters and one grandson, Kyle Anderson. Services are being handled by First Memorial Funeral Chapel, Deluth Minnesota. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
