Steven Bradley Crawford, 63, died on April 1, 2012 at his residence in Hoisington. He was born on August 9, 1948 in Russell, the son of John A. and Helen (Hamilton) Crawford. A resident of Hoisington since 2008, coming from the state of Washington, he was a retired chef and jack of all trades. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Church of God in Hoisington. His hobby was cooking. Survivors include his mother, Helen Baker, Warsaw, MO; son Larry Crawford and wife Melissa, Great Bend, Kansas; daughter, Kimberley Sue Potts and husband Randy, Salina, Kansas; two sisters, Crystal Hoch, Hoisington; Carolyn Sue Smith, Kansas City, Kansas; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Larry Crawford. A memorial service will be held at a later date as cremation has taken place.
