Sharon L. Herrman, 66, died June 30, 2013 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. She was born December 23, 1946 at Hockerville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Chester and Dorothy (Farmer) Bryant. She married LeRoy Herrman June 25, 1965 at Miami, Oklahoma. A Hoisington resident most of her life, Mrs. Herrman was a homemaker. Mrs. Herrman was a member of First Assembly of God, Great Bend. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Herrman, of the home; two daughters: Melissa Ferguson and her husband Jimmy, Great Bend; and Misty Dawn Bryant, Great Bend; one sister, Reenea Bryant, Great Bend; four grandchildren: Justin Ferguson, Jeremy Ferguson, Jacob Hoch, and Dominique Hoch; and five great-grandchildren: Laka Ferguson, Elim Ferguson, Brockton Ferguson, Briley Ferguson, and Brogan Ferguson. She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Wedgewood. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2013 at First Assembly of God, Great Bend, with Pastor Dwight Dozier officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to First Assembly of God or Barton County Relay for Life, in care of the funeral home.
