Sharon A. Hanks, 54, died May 29, 2009 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born January 23, 1955 at Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Edwin and Ruth (Dafft) Hanks. She was a former laundry worker for Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend. She was a lifetime Great Bend resident. Ms. Hanks was of the Southern Baptist faith. Survivors include her partner, Angie Ebeling, Great Bend, Kansas; one son, Ryan Andrasek, Manhattan, Kansas; one brother, David Hanks, Olathe, Kansas; one sister, Brenda Urban, Dodge City, Kansas; one niece, Amy Lindal, Dodge City, Kansas; and two nephews, Eric Urban, Geneva, Ohio and Brian Hanks, Overland Park, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ruth Hanks. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home.
