Scott Edward Deines, 46, passed away July 25, 2021, in Great Bend. He was born November 16, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Herman F. Deines Jr. & Alice J. (Clark) Deines.

Coming from Colorado, Scott had lived in Great Bend for the last three months. He was a construction laborer. Scott enjoyed fishing, working on cars and collecting baseball cards. He had many life-long friends from high school that he kept in touch with.

Survivors include, his mother, Alice Deines of Great Bend; his siblings, Kimberly Moore of Zanesville, Ohio, Sheryl Stickler of Great Bend, Tammy DiManna and husband Terry of Brighton, Colo., Frank Deines III and wife Shannon of Great Bend, and Derek Deines and wife Rachel of Firestone, Colo.; and twelve nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Deines Jr.

Visitation will be held from Noon to 9:00 p.m. Thursday July 29, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday July 30, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galatia. Memorials have been designated to Colorado Parks & Wildlife, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
