Russell Wayne Morgan, 50, died October 20, 2013 at his home in El Dorado. He was born December 10, 1962 at Great Bend, the son of Raymond Kenneth and Irene Emily (Elliott) Morgan. He married Ronda Harmon February 26, 2000 at Las Vegas, Nevada. They later divorced. He was a medical technologist at Newman Regional Health, Emporia. Mr. Morgan was an El Dorado, Kansas resident since 2003 coming from Towanda. Survivors include ex-wife: Ronda Morgan of El Dorado; mother: Irene Morgan of Great Bend; two sons: Bryce Morgan of El Dorado and Braden Morgan of El Dorado; one daughter: Lakin Harmon of El Dorado; four sisters: Orlena Allen and her husband Skip of Ogallala, Nebraska, Winona Smith of Hutchinson, Rose Barton and her husband Bob of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Lisa Morgan and her husband Stan Allison of Great Bend; five brothers: Ken Morgan and his wife Jody of Valdez, Alaska, Dan Morgan and his wife Joan of Durham, North Carolina, Kim Morgan and his wife Patty of Owasso, Okla., David Morgan and his wife Angel of Ellinwood, and John Morgan and his wife Kayleen of Buhler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond K. Morgan. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home with The Reverend Ron Moser officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home.
