Rosemary O. Roelse, 83, died on November 2, 2007, at Central Kansas Medical, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on August 7, 1924 at Otis, Kansas, the daughter of Rehinhardt and Rosie Anna Suchy Feil. Rosemary was a waitress for various restaurants. She was a lifetime resident of Great Bend. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick and Altar Society of Great Bend. Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Roelse of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Ron Feil and wife Ruby of Great Bend; and one sister, Helen Bonhag Horn of Cheney, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Roelse; two brothers, Harold Feil and Orland Feil; and two sisters, Irene Packard and Leola Evertz. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend with Father Wesley Schawe, officiating. An inurnment will be at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Cherry Village Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
