Obituary

Ronald Eugene Laudick passed away the morning of September 15th  2017.  Ron was born January 20th 1955 of Lyons KS.  Ron's early childhood was spent in Lyons, KS, surrounded by his extended family along with his parents and six siblings.  His family moved to Great Bend, KS, during his early schoolboy years, two doors down from who would become the love of his life.  He married Paula A. Laudick (Hollembeak) September 6, 1975.  Ron and Paula were blessed with two daughters and later in life, four precious grandchildren.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.  Mostly Ron enjoyed his family.  His purpose in life was to take care of his family any and every way he could. He wore many "hats" in his life, an electrician, plumber, home builder, hunter, roughneck, firefighter, reverend, farmer, husband, father and a Papa, a good ole' boy.  Many would say he was a "jack of all trades." He was a man of respect and asked for yours in return. He was an honorable man who looked for your honesty as well. Most of all he was a man who loved and hoped for a little of yours.  He called himself a simple man, one of a "dying breed." His most cherished moments were those with his loved ones doing what he enjoyed. He will be remembered for many good times, the best of memories and the sweetest of moments.  He will never be forgotten, with the wind at your back, the sun on your face and the wildlife abundant around you he will be there too.  Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Laudick. Survived by his wife, Paula Laudick (Hollembeak), his two daughters, Angela(Brian) Kiel, Michelle(Tobe) Wallace, four grand children, 5 brothers, and one sister along with many more family and friends. (I love you Dad)
