Roger D. Hickey, 63, died April 13, 2012 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born November 4, 1948 at Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ray and Twila (Epply) Hickey. He married Janelle Brower November 21, 2001 at Las Vegas, Nevada. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mr. Hickey was owner of Hickey Sheet Metal. Mr. Hickey was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #646, Great Bend. Survivors include his wife, Janelle Hickey, of the home; two daughters: Dana Baxter and her husband Mike, Farmington, Maine; and Marcia Hickey, Great Bend; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Ray Hickey. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Dick Ogle officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to Barton County Relay for Life, in care of the funeral home.
