Robert G. "Bob" Schwager, 60 died July 9, 2010 at his home in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born November 25, 1949 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of George Joseph and Luella Pauline (Burhenn) Schwager. On November 4, 1967 he married Marilyn V. Schartz at Great Bend. They were later divorced. Bob was a self-employed electrician and handyman. He was a lifetime resident of Geat Bend, Kansas. Bob was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Church and the I.B.E.W. Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Bingo, gardening and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include, three sons: Gary Schwager and wife Andrea, of Lindsborg, Kansas; Michael Schwager of Ellinwood, Kansas; Coy Schwager and wife Danielle of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter: Chalain Schwager of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters: Jeanette Soper of Great Bend, Kansas; Diana Sanders and husband robert, of Great Bend, Kansas; Shirley Headley of Albert, Kansas; four brothers: Raymond Schwager and wife Donita of Hays, Kansas; Roger Schwager of Great Bend, Kansas; Ricky Schwager and wife Kathy of Great Bend, Kansas; Ronald Schwager and wife Michelle of Great Bend, Kansas; nine Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Vigil service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend, Kansas. Celebrant for the Mass will be Father Reginald A. Urban. Interment will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Seward, Kansas.
