Richard Glenn DeBolt, 60, died December 22, 2014 at Hays Medical Center in Hays. He was born July 14, 1954, at Chanute, to Charles Robert and Joyce D. (Ross) DeBolt. A Larned resident, he was a security guard at Larned State Hospital. Survivors include a companion, Alethea Ashbaugh of the home; nine children, Dawn Renee DeBolt, Christopher James DeBolt, Kearra Ledesma, Rose Ledesma, Andrew DeBolt, Michael DeBolt, Jaime, Heather Renee, and Kayla; and two grandchildren, Hailee Bonham and Gracie Bonham. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Alicia Danielle DeBolt, and one sister, Belinda Nading. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. The family requests that guests wear country-western attire. Inurnment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend, with Bishop Ben Bates, officiant. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Richard DeBolt Funeral Expense Fund may be made in care of the funeral home.
