Reva (Vona) Mae Fyffe, 86, died June 16, 2010 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born February 12, 1924 at Galena, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph and Sylvia Serena (Durham) Haight. She married Loren C. Sacket August 23, 1940 at Alva, Oklahoma. They divorced. She married Charles E. Fyffe October 14, 1950 at Cherokee, Oklahoma. He died December 10, 1992. A restaurant cook, Mrs. Fyffe was a Great Bend resident since 1994, coming from Coats and Pratt, Kansas. Mrs. Fyffe was a former member of First Baptist Church, Pratt; and the Southern Baptist Church, Coats. She was active in 4-H, the Candlelight Club, and the Home Extension Unit. Survivors include one daughter, Reva Leech, Great Bend; two sons, Richard Sacket and wife Marjorie, Yukon, Oklahoma; and Wayne Sacket and wife Vicki, El Reno, Oklahoma; one half-brother, Neil A. Brewer, Liberal, Kansas; one half-sister, Maxine Clepper, Garden City, Kansas; eight grandchildren: Connie Daniels, Toby Leech, Christy Leech, Todd Leech, Tyler Leech, Kimberlee Harper, Steven Sacket, and Brian Sacket; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold C. Haight, Jr.; two half-brothers, Kenneth L. Brewer and Darell L. Brewer; one half-sister, Eula June Sansbury; three grandchildren, Terry Leech, Carla Leech, and Cindy Leech; and one great-grandchild, Latoya Leech. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Doyle W. Smith officiating. Inurnment will be in the Coats Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Reva Mae Fyffe Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
