Raven Ranell Schwidt Dale, 49, died March 2, 2013 at her South Hutchinson, Kansas, residence. She was born March 5, 1963 at Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Keith and Judy (Williams) Schwindt. She was a 1981 graduate of McCracken High School and attended Barton Community College. She married Mark Dale and they were later divorced. She worked for the United States Postal Service for nineteen years working in Stafford, Great Bend, Buhler, and Hutchinson, where she was a MPOO secretary. She enjoyed her close friends, garage sales, loved Black Friday shopping, and was passionate about her job. Survivors include her parents, Keith and Judy Schwindt, Alexander, Kansas; one son, Kendall Dale, South Hutchinson; one daughter, Bailey Dale and her companion Lee Minnick, South Hutchinson; one brother, Rick Schwindt and his wife Rose, La Crosse, Kansas; two sisters: Renee Scott, Bucklin, Kansas; and Rashell Patten and her husband Greg, Ellinwood, Kansas; four nephews and five nieces. She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Steve Scott. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Suzie Woods officiating. Inurnment will be in Alexander Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to Hospice of Reno County or Cancer Council of Reno County, Inc., in care of the funeral home.
