Ralph A. Fink, 83, died March 24, 2013 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. He was born September 22, 1929 at Codell, Kansas, the son of Ezekiel and Ethel (Stout) Fink. He married Lillian L. Allen May 29, 1955 at Stafford, Kansas. She died November 24, 2000. A Great Bend resident since 2010, coming from Larned, Mr. Fink was employed as an aide at Larned State Hospital, previously working on a section gang for the railroad and in the oilfield. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Mr. Fink was a member of First Bible Baptist Church and the NRA. Survivors include one daughter, Rita K. Hayes and her husband Jerry, Great Bend, Kansas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Fink and Marion Fink; three sisters, Marthanna Roberts, Frances McCune, and Florence Bloom; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Kevin Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park with military rites by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are requested to First Bible Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.
