Phillip D. Chapman, 70, died November 28, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born December 17, 1939 at Crescent, Oklahoma, the son of Oras Virgil and Cecil (Tabler) Chapman. He was a resident of sixty-five years moving from Crescent. He assisted with serving Friendship Meals for many years. He was a member of First Christian Church. There are no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Chapman and Virgil Chapman. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home with the Reverend Don Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are requested to the Friendship Meals, in care of the funeral home.
