Patricia L. "Pat Resner, 79 of Great Bend, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood, Kansas. She was born June 14, 1930 in Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of Emil John and Helen Edna Remley Pflughoeft. Patricia was resident of Great Bend for most of her life. She was a homemaker. Patricia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend, Kansas. On September 7, 1947 Patricia married Clinton M. Resner in Clayton, New Mexico. He died July 28, 1990. She is survived by three sons, Lonnie Resner, Butler, Missouri; Gerald Resner and Terry Resner, Great Bend, Kansas: two sisters, Elaine Briley, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, and Glennis Durand, Rock Ledge, Florida; three grandchildren, Jacob Resner, Olathe, Kansas; Matthew Resner, Great Bend, Kansas and Samantha Rinehart, White Plains, Maryland. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
