Patricia Ann Evers, 81, died March 27, 2014 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend. She was born December 14, 1932, at Great Bend, the daughter of Clarence Harve and Bernadine (Ericks) Johnson. She married Earl Otis Evers June 10, 1951, at Great Bend. He died January 3, 2000. A lifetime Barton County resident, Pat was a clerk, secretary and homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Ellinwood and Fort Zarah EHU. Survivors include one son, Daryl Evers and his wife Deb of Olathe; three daughters, Carol Lang of Ellinwood, Susan Urban and her husband Darrel of Bison, and Janet Stones and her husband Mark of Broken Bow, Nebraska; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Evers, Great Bend; one sister, Nina Reed and husband Jerry of Soldier; two brothers, Harve Johnson and his wife Roberta of Hutchinson, and Clarence D. "C. D." Johnson and his wife Jolene of Great Bend; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Evers. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2014 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Ellinwood. Pastor Debra Rains will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to Immanuel United Church of Christ or Ellinwood EMS, in care of the funeral home.
