Patricia "Pat" Brabander, 64, died June 23, 2016 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1951 at Newton, the daughter of Raymond and Darlene (Proffitt) Striat. She married David W. Brabander April 1, 1991 at Great Bend.

She worked in housekeeping at Central Kansas Medical Center. Mrs. Brabander was a Great Bend resident since 1989.

Survivors include her husband David Brabander, of the home; two sons, Tom Larkin and his wife Kerri of Onalaska, Texas, and Jason Brabander of Park City; two daughters, Tamara Gardinier of Great Bend, and Jill Jackson and her husband Jesse of McPherson; two sons, Tom Larkin and his wife Kerri of Onalaska, Texas, and Jason Brabander of Park City; two daughters, Tamara Gardinier of Great Bend, and Jill Jackson and her husband Jesse of McPherson; one sister, Kathy Elliott of Great Bend; one brother, Dennis Striat of Hutchinson; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
