Opal Georgia McCutchan, 94, died September 14, 2013. She was born on March 14, 1919 in Minneapolis, Kansas to Roy Bryne Messex and Grace Travis Messex. She was a resident of the area since 1957 and a member of First Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Morris I. McCutchan; sisters, Edith Ogle, Susie Messex; brothers, Roy John Messex and Hiram Messex She is survived by her two sons, Morris L. McCutchan (Sue) of Mulberry, Arkansas, Marlan McCutchan (Sally) of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter, Shirley Moses (Bill) of Katy, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Bryne and Kevin McCutchan, Marla Jo Hagaman, Kyle and Gary Moses, Carey Longman, Christine Kimes and 14 great- grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Hoisington Cemetery with Reverend Dick Ogle officiating.
