Omer Bieberle, 72, died February 7, 2010 at his Bushton, Kansas, residence. He was born January 30, 1938 at rural Rice County, Kansas, the son of Joe and Rose (Huslig) Bieberle. He married Mary Ann Maier November 4, 1961 at Bushton. A lifetime resident of the Bushton area, Mr. Bieberle was a contract pumper, farmer, and stockman. Mr. Bieberle was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Bushton; and Knights of Columbus Council #1187, Ellinwood. Kansas. He enjoyed hunting, the out of doors, and sports. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Bieberle, Bushton; two sons: Joe Bieberle, Claflin, Kansas; and Jerry Bieberle and wife Audria, Bushton; two daughters: Connie Weber and husband Tim, Bushton; and Karen Riggs and husband Doug, Bushton; one brother, Willis Bieberle, Great Bend, Kansas; three sisters: Alice Jenisch, Odin, Kansas; Dorothy Moeder, Ellinwood; and JoAnn McGlinn, Great Bend; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence Bieberle; and one son-in-law, Terry Musil. Vigil service followed by Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church, Bushton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church. Father Eric Weldon and Father James Roth will be celebrants. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home and after 6:30 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Holy Name Cemetery Fund or Bushton First Responders, both in care of the funeral home.
