Norman Dean Hickel, 74, passed away on January 24, 2022, at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on October 10, 1947 at Great Bend, Kansas, to Rudolph & Mollie (Radke) Hickel. Norman married Merlinda Enrile Dañozo in 1968 in the Philippines.

A life-time resident, Norman was a self-employed owner of M&N Enterprises. He served his country during Vietnam war in the Navy from 1964 to 1968.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Don (Megan) Hickel of Missouri City, Texas; four granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, & two sisters.

Per Norman's wishes, there will be no services or visitation, as cremation has taken place.  Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
