Mildred "Marcie" Elliott, 78, died April 5, 2007 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born February 21, 1929 at Belton, Texas, the daughter of R. D. and Grace Selby Jones. She married Felton Elliott June 8, 1947 at Belton, Texas. She was a secretary for Gibson's Discount Center at Hutchinson, Kansas. Mrs. Elliott was a Great Bend resident since 1980, coming from Anthony and Hutchinson, Kansas. Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, Felton Elliott of the home; one son, Phillip Elliott, Great Bend, Kansas; one daughter, Jan Hassler and husband, David, Lawrence, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Cammie Elliott, Hutchinson, Kansas; one brother, Wendell Jones, Temple, Texas; two sisters, Freda Hossfeld, Belton, Texas, and Sue Hartnett, Yokum, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Elliott. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2007 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend, Kansas. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2007 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time, Monday, April 9, 2007.
