Mary H. Keller, 60, died December 20, 2008 at her Topeka, Kansas, residence. She was born March 27, 1948 at Newton, Kansas, the daughter of Layne Bruce and Freda Louise (Lawson) Lairmore. She married Jon R. Keller August 29, 1970 at Newton. Mrs. Keller helped establish the Great Bend Daycare before going back to school to finish her teaching degree. She later taught at Washington Elementary, Great Bend, Kansas; before retiring with Unified School District #501, Topeka, Kansas. She was a Topeka resident since 1983, coming from Great Bend. Mrs. Keller was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Great Bend. Survivors include her husband, Jon R. Keller, Topeka, Kansas; two sons: John Layne Keller and wife, Aleasha Dawn, Topeka, Kansas; and Jared Douglas Keller, Topeka, Kansas; one daughter, Jessica Ann Davis and husband, Andy, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters: Marty Anderson, Galena, Maryland; and Jeanie Jennings and husband, Terry, Newton, Kansas; and four grandchildren: John Hayden Keller; Jackson Layne Keller; Sydney Catherine Davis; and Aaron Scott Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, Layne Larimore. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
