Martha Helen Reeves, 88, died February 14, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born August 14, 1922 at Odin, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Antoinette (Herrmann) Gerritzen. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mrs. Reeves worked for Fuller Brush and was a caregiver. Mrs. Reeves attended the Prince of Peace Parish, Great Bend. Survivors include one son, Gary Reeves, Great Bend; one daughter, Donna Crawford and husband Jerry, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister, Theresa Rome, Hoisington, Kansas; four grandchildren: Tracy Reeves, Jason Crawford, Maria Crawford, and Marcy Reeves; and two great-grandchildren: Tyler Reeves and Trinity Reeves. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Gerritzen, Tony Gerritzen, Joe Gerritzen, and Pete Gerritzen; and two sisters: Clara and Agnes Gerritzen; and one grandson, Eric Reeves. Private family inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Prince of Peace Parish, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
