Martha A. Redetzke, 77, died October 22, 2010 at Hospice of Reno County. She was born October 29, 1932, Altadena, California, the daughter of Harry and Nora (Auten) Hawes. A resident of Hoisington, she was employed at Essex as an accounting clerk. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Altar Society and American Legion Auxiliary, all of Hoisington. On November 3, 1951 she married Clarence Redetzke at Fort Smith, Arkansas. He survives. Other survivors are two sons, Terence Redetzke and Gregory Redetzke, both of Hoisington; three daughters, Linda Rubio, Hoisington and Catherine Kruhm and Carol Redetzke, both of Littleton, Colorado; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Rubio. Parish rosary will be at 7:00 pm Sunday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Father Dwight Birket officiating. Interment will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery, Dubuque, KS. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am until servicetime Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Foundation - Golden Belt Chapter; Zachary C. Rubio Seminary Burse or Parkinson's Research all in care of the funeral home.
