Marilyn L. Hoyt, 85, died January 4, 2011 at Country Place Senior Living, Hoisington, Kansas. She was born April 25, 1925 at Grenola, Kansas, the daughter of George A. and Mary (Westling) Warner. She married Robert Hoyt September 13, 1959 at Hoisington. He died February 1, 2002. A longtime Hoisington resident, Mrs. Hoyt was secretary for Hoisington Federal Savings and Loan. Mrs. Hoyt was a member of First Christian Church, PEO, Order of Eastern Star, and BPW, all of Hoisington. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. The Reverend William F. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Kans for Kids or First Christian Church, Great Bend, in care of the funeral home.
