Margaret F. Wycoff, 83, died December 27, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born December 31, 1925 at Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of James E. and Mardie (Browne) Morgan. She married Arlys "Art" Wycoff February 7, 1946 at Fort Worth. Mrs. Wycoff was a certified dental assistant for Dr. A. W. G. Schubert for twenty-two years and was a clerk for the Register of Deeds and Court Records for Barton County for seventeen years. She was a Great Bend resident for more than sixty years, coming from Fort Worth. Mrs. Wycoff was a member of the Church of Christ, Great Bend. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include two daughters: Linda Terry and husband Doug, Olathe, Kansas; and Susan Willis and husband Randy, Hoisington, Kansas; four grandchildren: Krista Denny and husband Jack, Overland Park, Kansas; Craig Terry, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Julie Ann Jacobs and husband Ben, Ellinwood, Kansas; and Abby Shull and husband Jeremiah, Winfield, Kansas; four great-grandchildren: Julia Denny, Cecily Shull, Bennett Jacobs, and Banks Jacobs; and one brother, Ted Morgan, Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Morgan; and one sister, Pearl McDonald. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Church of Christ. Randy Willis and Chuck Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Church of Christ or Carpenter Place, both in care of the funeral home.
