Margaret Rose Campbell, 73, died July 31, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born March 30, 1940 at Odin, Kansas, the daughter of Lawrence Ernest and Mary Margaret (Lewis) Debes. She married Gary Lee Campbell April 4, 1961 at Great Bend. A Great Bend resident since 1959, coming from Bushton, Kansas, Mrs. Campbell was employed as a custodian for Unified School District 428 and also worked in the District Office. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Survivors include her husband, Gary Lee Campbell, of the home; four sons: Gary Wayne Campbell and his wife Deidre, Great Bend; Tony Campbell and his wife Brenda, Great Bend; Darrin Campbell and his wife Jeanette, Great Bend; and Trevor Campbell and his wife Angela, Great Bend; one daughter, Diana Blake, Kearney, Missouri; one sister, Germaine Carey, Monett, Missouri; four brothers, Lawrence Debes, Larned, Kansas; Justin Debes, Great Bend; Kevin Debes, Pierce City, Missouri; and Jim Debes, Great Bend; ten grandchildren: Garrett Campbell, Emerson Campbell, Trista Girard, Nikki Blake, Sarah Schwartz, Sabrina Campbell, Savana Campbell, Evan Campbell, Anna Campbell, and Katie Schlochtermeier; and two great-grandchildren, Braden Hertel and Liam Schwartz. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome Debes and Mike Debes; and one sister, Rita Bethel. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m., and vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Don Bedore will be celebrant. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
