Lynda Marie Garrett, 60, died February 8, 2013 at her Great Bend, Kansas, residence. She was born May 5, 1952 at LaCrosse, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene and Alma (Zimmerman) Suppes. She married Tim Garrett August 4, 1973 at Great Bend. A long-time Great Bend resident, Mrs. Garrett was a cosmetologist. Mrs. Garrett was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and StoneRidge Ladies Golf Association. She was an active bridge player. Survivors include her husband, Tim Garrett, of the home; her parents, Eugene and Alma Suppes, of Great Bend; two daughters: Tina Lamb and her husband Scott, Great Bend; and Jennifer Garrett, Eugene, Oregon; four brothers: Richard Suppes, J. R. Suppes, Bernie Suppes, and Dale Suppes; and five sisters: Shirley Philippi, Ginger Herrman, Margie Bowsher, Tammy LaGreca, and Stacy Suppes; and four grandchildren: Dalton Lamb, Dylan Lamb, D. J. Lamb, and Darren Lamb. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m., and a Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Don Bedore will be celebrant. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery.
