Loretta Agnes Weiser, 91, died May 21, 2010 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood, Kansas. She was born April 5, 1919 at Odin, Kansas, the daughter of John and Louise (Beran) Boor. She married Clem R. Weiser June 10, 1946 at Odin, Kansas. He died August 12, 2000. A lifetime Barton County, Kansas, resident, Mrs. Weiser was a nurse for St. Rose Hospital, Central Kansas Medical Center, and Cherry Village. Mrs. Weiser was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Dominican School of Nursing Alumni, all of Great Bend. Survivors include two sons: Gary Weiser and wife Jane, Great Bend; and Bob Weiser and wife Nancy, Fort Worth, Texas; and two daughters: Diana Drake and husband Bob, Great Bend; and Mary Jo Barton and husband Chad, Great Bend; three sisters: Teresa Weiser, Kansas City, Kansas; Cecelia Gerstenkorn, Topeka; and Alice Schneweis, Hutchinson; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and nine sisters. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Peter Fernandez will be celebrant. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home.
