Lois L. Dove, 82, died February 25, 2008 at Fitzgibbon Hospital, Marshall, Missouri. She was born February 7, 1926, the daughter of Ed and Edna Dolecek Bradstreet. She married DeVere "Dee" Dove, Jr., September 15, 1946 at Topeka, Kansas. He died October 2, 2003. Mrs. Dove was a homemaker, residing in Great Bend since 1957, coming from Dodge City, Kansas. Mrs. Dove was a member of First Christian Church, P. E. O. Chapter FS, both of Great Bend, and was a former board member of the Barton County Community College Foundation. Survivors include one son, DeVere "Rob" Dove III, Great Bend, Kansas; two daughters, Deborah V. Rosen, Louisville, Kentucky, and Mary B. Keller, Marshall, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Bradstreet Boltz, Phoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Breanna Rosen, Mindy North, Kristi Lawrence, Andy Dove, Rachel Keller, Madelyn Keller, and Rebecca Keller; and one great-grandchild, Ava Lawrence. Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bradstreet; and one grandson, Creed Rosen. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008 at First Christian Church, Great Bend. The Reverend William F. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 29, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials in Mrs. Dove's name have been established with First Christian Church, Barton County Community College Foundation, P.E.O. Education Fund, or the Frazier Spinal Cord Research Foundation, all in care of the funeral home.
