Lois H. Becker, 92, died November 29, 2007, at her home in Great Bend. She was born on June 14, 1915, the daughter of Cecil and Lela Holland Gilbert. On June 14, 1936, she married Harold L. Becker at Pawnee Rock, Kansas. He died on June 15, 2006. Lois was a homemaker and a resident of Great Bend most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Bissel Point E.H.U all of Great Bend. Survivors include a son, Wayne Becker and wife Karen of Great Bend, three daughters, Linda Sisson, and Jean Radke and husband Ron all of Great Bend and Ann Engel and husband Al of McPherson, Kansas; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Pam Sisson Schenk; a son-in-law, Larry Sisson and a great-grandson, Aaron Sisson. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 at First United Methodist Church, Great Bend, with the Reverend Gary Brooks officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2007, from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with family to receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church of the Great Bend Food Bank in care of the funeral home.
