Lloyd Leuenberger, 69, died May 14, 2010 at his Great Bend, Kansas, residence. He was born July 28, 1940 at Great Bend, the son of John and Beulah (Ledbetter) Leuenberger. A lifetime Great Bend resident, he was an oilfield truck driver. Survivors include four sons: Carl "Butch" Leuenberger, Layne Leuenberger, and Troy Leuenberger, all of Great Bend, and Aaron Leuenberger, Munjor, Kansas; one daughter, Lori Cooley, Great Bend; one sister, Lola Loftis, Missouri; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Pete Leuenberger; and two sisters, Delores Burton and Norma Woody. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home. Pastor Don Paden will officiate. Inurnment will be in Great Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Lloyd Leuenberger Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
