Linda Katherine Francis, 65, passed away August 6, 2025, surrounded by family at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. She was born on July 6, 1960, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Clifford "Cliff" and Janet (Polzin) Bieberle. On January 8, 1986, she married Todd Francis on a mountain top in Winter Park, Colorado.

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Linda worked in the HR department for Central Kansas Medical Center. She then shifted to the Barton County Sheriff's Office as an administrative assistant. Linda was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She enjoyed skiing, baseball, and sewing, known for being a talent seamstress. Linda most enjoyed time spent with family, especially with her grandsons.

Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Samantha Elsen and husband Alex of Great Bend; four grandsons, Adrian Elsen, Mack Elsen, Kade Elsen, and Dex Elsen; two brothers, Jim Bieberle and wife Crystal of Great Bend, and Danny Bieberle and significant other Tammy Becker of Medicine Lodge; two sisters, Vicki Woodral and husband Bill, and Donna Eshleman and husband Matt, all of Great Bend; numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Black Walnut Event Venue, 292 NE 10 Ave., Great Bend, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the American Cancer Society or Barton County Reserves, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
