Kenneth P. Brack, 90, died September 22, 2010 at Rush County Nursing Home, LaCrosse, Kansas. He was born August 21, 1920 at Otis, Kansas, the son of Peter E. and Amelia (Horch) Brack Foos. He married Fern Marie Schlegel April 21, 1946 at Otis. She died December 21, 1993. A retired farmer, Mr. Brack was an Otis and Rush County resident for seventy years, coming from Ness City, Kansas. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Brack was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis, and Sunflower Polka Club. Survivors include one son, Paul Brack and wife Diana, Madera, California; two daughters: Nancy Von Feldt and husband Stan, Parker, Colorado; and Jane Weiser and husband Gary, Great Bend; five grandchildren: Kellie, Brandon, Sonja, Lacey, and Tiffany; two great-grandchildren: Rylie and Deavin; and one step-brother, David Foos, Tracy, California. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland Brack and William Brack. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis. Pastor Bruce Adamson will officiate. Burial will be at Otis Lutheran Cemetery, Otis. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home; and from 1:00 p.m. to service time Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Kenneth P. Brack Fund, in care of the funeral home.
