Kandis Ann Pedigo, 40, died May 28, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was given the gift of life November 1, 1968 at Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Howard Stenson and Melba Jean (Warrenburg) Pedigo. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was a worker for Rosewood Services, Great Bend. Miss Pedigo was a member of First United Methodist Church, Kiwanis Action Club, and The Storm Special Olympics Team, all of Great Bend. Survivors include one brother, Donald L. Pedigo and wife, Kathleen, Great Bend, Kansas; one sister, Sandy Smith and husband, Randy, Great Bend, Kansas; two nephews, Brian Pedigo and Dave Smith, both of Great Bend, Kansas; and two nieces, Janell Pedigo and Michelle Pedigo, both of Great Bend, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Gary Lee Pedigo. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2009, with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation or the Great Bend Recreation Commission Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
