Judith A. Stevenson, 71, died June 19, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born February 4, 1940 at Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of John and Opal (Heater) Ruble. She married Harold Stevenson. She was a homemaker and artist, living in Barton County her entire life. Mrs. Stevenson was of the Christian faith. Survivors include four sons: Glenn Cousins, McPherson, Kansas; Buddy Yhane, Louisiana; John Stevenson, Hoisington; and Brian Stevenson, Mississippi; three daughters: Shelley Yhane, Great Bend; Angie Ebeling, Ellinwood, Kansas; and Tina Marie Leach, Claflin, Kansas; one brother, Gary Ruble, Savannah, Georgia; one step-son, Harold Bryant Stevenson, Nevada, Missouri; one adopted son, Harold Stevenson, Great Bend; one adopted daughter, Talisa Stevenson, Mississippi; a couple dozen grandchildren; and at least one dozen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. The Reverend Dick Ogle will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery.
