Joyce Jeanette Schiller, 75, died May 18, 2008 at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born August 6, 1932 at Otis, Kansas, the daughter of John E. and Elizabeth Wilhelm Kaiser. She married Joseph John Schiller August 25, 1954 at Great Bend, Kansas. He died February 4, 2006. A lifetime Barton County, Kansas, resident, Mrs. Schiller was a homemaker. Mrs. Schiller was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick, Altar Society, and Sunflower Polka Club, all of Great Bend; and was also an EHU member. Survivors include one son, Paul Schiller and wife, Lynn, Great Bend, Kansas; one daughter, Ruth Anne Bealer and husband, Richard, Great Bend, Kansas; four grandchildren, Lisa Schiller Gwin, Jenni Schiller, Zach Bealer, and Ryan Bealer, all of Great Bend, Kansas; and one step-granddaughter, Nicole Jacks, Rapid City, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Durant. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Father Reginald A. Urban. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home.
