Joyce M. Bray, 68, died March 28, 2015, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. Born November 13, 1946 at Garden City, she was the daughter of William James and Ruth (Schulz) Bray She was a 1964 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 1967 graduate of Asbury School of Nursing, Salina. She was a critical care nurse in the coronary unit at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Ms. Bray was a resident of Wichita since 1972 coming from Great Bend where she was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include one sister, Vivian Jane Bray of Longmont, Colo. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at First Christian Church, Great Bend, with the Reverend Joshua Leu officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or Joyce Bray Nursing Scholarship, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
